lapses in the fielding and bowling helped sri lanka to score 242, otherwise after 53 / 3, there was no way for them but pakistan being generous like alwayz gave them many chancez to score runz and they were not disappointed by lankanz...

This is for our ungreatful brother Dervaish.
I hope you are saying these stuff by looking at the commentary by cricinfo and not watching the real match.
If you would have watched the real match you would have seen how brilliantly the Pakistanis bowled.
Even the commentators are praising the bowlers.
So before you say junk like that think about it next time.
This pitch is a nightmare for fast bowlers and considering that Pakistan doesn't have an official slow bowler in their lineup and just conceiving 242 runs is a job well done.
Little expensive in the begining but concerning the shape of the pitch and size of the ground shows that is a really low score.
If Pakistan even looses this one it will be because of batting and not bowling.
What a great comeback by our bowlers after the Jayasuriya and Jayawardne partnership.
At one time the run rate was 5.9 and it ended up 4.8 something and that is a big accomplishment.
If Pakistan can get a good start wicket wise then they are definite to win this one.
Srilankan fast bowlers are no threat to our batting but Murali and Chandana are going to be the problem.

kakay worry not, i am watching it live on ATN, thatz y i know how badly they bowled and fielded in that innings...comeback does not matter as they still end up scoring 242...and this is not a hidden fact that HOW good pakistaniz are when it comez to chasing...

Pakistani bowlers lacked the ambition to attack the SL batman when they were down and under pressure. They could have ended the game earlier, and far less score than it is now.
The fielding…like the games before…sucked.

Pakistan has to keep their cool, as they have the tendency to come under pressure while chasing, as I dont think that the score is enough and they might win. But there shouldnt be any recklessness and lack of commitment amongst the batsmen.
