**Afridi really needs to justify his place in the team now (if that is possible at all). He can start by picking up a wicket here to help out the Razzler's effort.

Why doesn't Waqar play Shoaib Malik? I reckon he's Pak's best fielder even ahead of Nazir, I've seen Nazir fumble too many times to call him an excellent fielder. **

Once in a while is OK but Nazir IS A good fielder and 2ndly I dont think dropping SAQLAIN is a good idea. Yes he was expensive on monday but he is too good to drop on just one bad performance. He should have got a chance to come back. Pakistan need one regular spinner here. Lets see what Shahid do.

S/L needs 145 runs of 132 balls. The equation is growing and will soon start to put pressure on the S/L batsmen.

141/3.

139 runs off 119 balls.

Come on Pakistan.

The Pakistani strength is very much in there bowling dept and us such we should back the boys to produce the goods-although if pakistan lose this one too winning the Mc wil be very hard as we more then most teams are suseptible to fal into a groove. The boys lose heart and start playing cautiously with is never too good an idea.

Shoiab is a bit of a d*ck for missing this one, but with him there we should give the Aussies a good run, and insha-allah we will prevail in this too. :)

SL need 128 runs from 96 balls 7 wickets in hand.

I feel like crying because I'm looking at Waqar's speed via the speed gun thingy on cricinfo.

Anybody want to join me?

I bet Afridi's faster delivery is faster than Wawar's average delivery.

161/4. Chandana gone.

119 runs of 88 balls.

Looking Good.

And the preasure mounting on SL....

Akram on....

Dont be disheartended brother-the speed guns are often faulty. In 1996 they were recording him at 78mph in England, and he physically laughed at that suggestion in an interview. He was later shown to be over 90 frequently in the following tours, and is still about 84~ i reckon. In the 2001 ODI thingy in the Uk he bowled one at 91mph-recorded, so its all good.

He was so fast in his youth that iot is sad to see him at "standard" speed.

I guess Waqar bhai heard me. Another wicket.

But I'm still crying because of the speed gun.

Sri lanka 172/4, needs 108 runs in 12 overs.
It's over guys, we won this match. And why not, it's our independence
day.

**Well said GO GREEM MACHINE ** :k:

103 balls from 66 balls.
