:) Hi Spanish girl, my boy friend and I are going to spain this xmas and new year.
Can you recommend us some halal restaurants in Barcelona? we will live in Ramblas.
And also are those shops are open on 1st January (new years day)?
We are going to malaga, sevilla, codorba, granada and barcelona... hope this will be a good trip...
And wish we can find halal restaurants everywhere...

Hi Lovemasheep. You will enjoy your trip, and you have made a nice choice of cities.

I regret to tell you that the 1st of january all the shops are closed, you just will find open in Las Ramblas all that souvenirs shops of the indians (which I hate. Not the indians of course, but the souvenirs shops).

If you are going to live in Las Ramblas, go to Rajah in Carrer Nou de La Rambla and Shalimar in Carrer del Carme, you will love them two.

I will PM you with exact addresses and more places to visit.
