One thing is for sure, mazaQ nahin uRana chaahiyay unka...its better to give them something if they are begging, thats still better than what they have to resort to sometimes to make their ends meet. These guys get discriminated a lot in our countries.

Moorat means statue/idol, hai na? Never heard it used to describe the 3rd gender.

The terms seems to get popularity in electronic media (after the serial Moorat a decade ago). I myself not read the term being used for third gender in literature.

What are the terms you know for referring third gender?
