Yes, it is safe. I have been subscribed for almost a year, you can cancel it anytime or subscribe every month or just do 3 months. I did it for a month at first, cancelled b/c I moved and then restarted and got a year subscription.

If you're referring to Hautelook, then basically you subscribe once and they charge $10, you can select a 3-month one for $30 or go straight to a full year for $110, they will send you boxes after the 10th of each month as long as you are subscribed.

Surprisingly, I have never had a product go to waste, it's because of the survey you do so the products are hand-picked. I got the Fake Tan product because I am very light-skinned so they probably added it for that.

Yess!!!! M_was_here why the hell arent you my best friend in the uk yet?? I've subscribed to glossybox but that was back in may! June boxes were all sold out so i'm waiting for the july box! It's £10 a month, you get 5 high end products. There;s no subscriptions at all! You can cancel whenever and they don't take any money until they're ready to ship out! Currently i'm waiting for july box :( such a long time!!

Haha, hey, I can be your wedding planner bestie! And that sucks for the wait but I assure you the summer months will have the best boxes so it should be worth the wait. Let me know what you get since Glossybox is different from Birchbox, I'll post mine too!

Did you sign up for Birchbox or the UK version?

And I say we all post our boxes when we get them in the mail, it'll be fun and we can see what the international versions get etc.

Yaaay! I hope so! When i told all my friends they were like nah it’s gonna be rubbish but what do they know right :snooty: LOL I’ll definately let you know!

There is point system too where you post your reviews on their website and they give you points which you can use against purchasing a full size item or even a free glossy box.

I read somewhere that they will be sending out the (uk) June box early next week. Can't wait!

I've still not signed up because I'm lazehh, but how do they know what skin type you have? So like if they're giving out blushers lets say, obviously you would need to know the persons skin tone to see which one they need, do they give you products according to your ethnicity or is it all just white people stuff?

lol, of course they're genuine!

They make you take a survey and you fill out what your skin type is, texture of your hair, ethnicity, age and all that so they hand-pick the products that go into your box. Why dont you try it for a month and see for yourself whether you like it or not?

Yes, they'll vary b/c Birchbox is the American version. The UK versions are by a whole different company.

The june boxes are out for glossybox btw. You can see what product they've sent out on their website. I'm not really liking any of them and now i'm worried whether i'll like the july box? Also after the august box they'll be adding delivery costs of 2.95 so the actual cost for a glossybox will with £12.95. I'm not sure i like this price now as i was happy just paying a tenner as it's one note if any one knows what i mean? i'll have to see how much i like the july and august boxes! Will anyone else be buying them in september when the product price goes up?

I was gonna say this before when I had a look and it said I would have to wait til August for a box. It sounds like they basically signed a LOT of people up based on the first box and put in place a 'quota' so moved people to the July and August boxes. So if you already have people signing up for the August box in May, based purely on the contents of the May box, glossybox can give June/July/Aug customers whatever the crap they want because they already have your £10. That immediately put me off and I decided to wait and see what's in the June and July boxes.

Oh, that sucks for you UK people. The Birchbox one is still at $10, no shipping, thank god b/c I HATE shipping prices. Also, the July one for Birchbox, fashion designer Cynthia Rowley designed the July box and filled it with her favorite stuff, I am so excited about this one:

I really hope they put in stuff that i'l like in the july box because otherwise i'll be very disappointed. Glossybox lured all its customers in by putting a full size nars illuminator! sadly i was one of them :(
