I think this is the part that may have concerned the FBI. Who did they train with? Where they trained? In case it hasn't struck you, we are not all that patient with Jihadis these days. The New York Times makes it sound like Pakistan condones this.
The US State Department generally advocates for Americans trapped in foreign prisons, on the other hand, they are not idiots either. If these boys admitted to being material witnesses to Jihadi training camps, who are they kidding? Sure, we trained but we didn't fight. And Clinton didn't inhale either.... Sheesh!
And, I think we ought to treat these guys like mercenaries. Even international law does not protect them.*

Pakistan tortures people. It has no problem doing it and has done so for decades. The govt has been doing it for the US since 1979. What i find great is that the lovers of freedom and human rights violate their own constitution and turn up to be wrong.
You take americans. Hand them over to the ISI. Let them be tortured and then say nothing. What a way to protect your own people.
They knew about and let americans get tortured. Wow. I mean that is how one should protect its citizens.

Alas that is true. First the racial profiling when it comes to finger printing. Then of course violations of the constitution. Thirdly allowing foriegn entities to torture their own people. The US has always allowed its own citizens to be killed to forward their christian ideology.

If i remember correctly the US ensures that all people who join their fight are willing to die for king and country. Sounds very much like the jihadi training camps.
But the difference is jihadis aren't trained to rape, maim and commit genocide.
But we are going off topic. Alas the US constitution was violated...and our americans have no problem with that. For shame...you highly educated cough patriotic americans can tolerate your constitution being violated? At that by a bunch of annoying Pakis?
