Definitely seems like an extension of buns road ki nulofer with an updated cast. I like Sajjal ali in this role.
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
Even the director can be heard laughing towards the end (watch from 36:25).
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
Just watched the first episode. The candid backdrop of "androon shehr" and it's characters reminded me of behkawa. I looked up the writer and both dramas are written by Faseeh bari khan. I thought behkawa was brilliant, though it dragged towards the end. I am hoping this story is as complex and candid as behkawa.
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
i dont like the story at all. its all about girls and their burning desire for men
pata nahi kya kya logoun ko dikhaatay haen…
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
^ it's a shame you can't look beyond that. It's about people who live under harsh circumstances and how they cope with it by living in a fantasy world. The kids are all unloved and uncared for, and are constantly chasticised or beaten by the parents/siblings. As the mom points "ghar mein pyar nahi mil raha tau bahir pyar talaash ker rahay ho"(to her son when he is heart broken over resham). It's a harsh reality of life. Even in the west, it's mostly young girls from broken homes who become pregnant or strippers/prostitutes. Children from stable homes where they are loved by their parents and elders usually don't usually go around philandering.
i am on episode 7- so far so good
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
you are right it is a shame. i cant watch this drama with my brothers and family. itnay open dialog and stuff. bayshak wo upni jaga writer aur director theek ho ga. magar aur bhi muhazib tareekaen haen ye sab dikhanay kay. if a young girl sees this, what will she pick what will she understand by just looking at one scene where the girl herself lets a guy touch her and all........
Re: Mohabbat jai bhaar mein
^really, I think half the dramas fall into the same category. If its not open dialogues, its other stuff being shown like drinking, dancing/partying, affairs/cheating.
What I think wrong is the air time for such dramas. This drama airs at 7 pm central time in US, I think it should be aired later since it is for adult/mature audience.
The drama does show some harsh realities, Resham, the 2 teenage daughters, Adnan Siddiqui's characters, the exploitation.
Its a good drama (not a family drama), watch it by yourself.
