If you ladies have big butts, you can try pants with large pockets that are centered clos to the cheeks. Small wider pockets make your good butt look bigger and wider and wider isn't always better.

i have the same dilemma.
i love the summer, a mere 90 days if we're lucky, in chicago.
however, it always brings up the dilemma of wearing cool/trendy clothes but not showing too much.
i don't have an issue of bulges...but the exact opposite.
too thin to find anything that fits.
and i love those knee high skirts, but c'mon, wearing long boots in summer is a definite no no
but i like SadiaB's ideas of Sarong and long skirts with sandals.
Yea I’ve the same problem. I hate skirts though. I’m just gonna stick with light pants. Don’t really have any other option 
i can wear pants instead of skirts...but my main problem is usually with finding the right blouses.
they are either too small, too thin, too tight....just too much
love summer, but hate wardrobe during this time.
p.s. yes, i'm the fool that wears sweat pants to the beach to play volleyball with friends from work.

Tonite is the "clubbing" night and I just went out for a walk an hour and half ago dressed in sweat pants, t-shirt and track jacket with running shoes. I had no intentions of venturing into downtown but I somehow ended there along my "walk". Man! I felt like such a fool. People were giving me weird looks :D
Yes, finding the right blouse is such a dilemma. I bought this ultra-sheer summer blouse but I need to wear something underneath it! Grr! I'm so glad I'm going home in a month InshaAllah. Hurray for pretty shalwar kameezes :)

can't help it. not wearing shorts to go play volleyball.
so sweat pants it is, with a 3/4 sleeve shirt and a bandana...yes thats me at north ave beach!
You haven't picked up on the trousers/capri + skirt fad? Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles to find one that suits you.
ooh I have the same problem. Cargo pants all the way! you can dress them up or down, I love my cargos because theyre so comfortable and look cool too! Wear them with a t-shirt or a cute top, trainers or pointy shoes!
I used to love my capris, had several pairs because they looked so cute, but Ive been banned from even showing my ankles now. :(
And whats wrong with long flowy skirts? Theyre not unfashionable as long as you get the right ones without the slits. Some of my trendiest friends wear long skirts from time to time.

my favorite is... loose jeans and a thin (not see through) baggy kinda top that falls below the butt... i bought two last summer
otherwise its my cargos and a t-shirt or shilwar kameez :D
short leg people look good with ankle basher pants with a slight flare.. its very suttle...
i dont do skirts anymore.. but when i did, i found the A-line skirts (3/4 ones) look real cutd and trendy.. u could top it with a cute T :)
