If they wanted to show the world that the police harassment is totally racial, they lost that chance. They are showing that they respond to situations with violence and emotions. Which gets people in trouble. Makes the whole scenario of the police officer shooting at Mr. Brown understandable. You can easily see how law enforcement has to act to control the situation, so people will not have sympathy for the murdered boy when they see this sort of violence.

If they just held the violence and peacefully protested the world could say - look these really are innocent people.

There are limits to people’s patience. Point the finger where it belongs.
