Lets stick with Pakistan. As I mentioned in another post, talking about what is happening elsewhere is not going to justify Pakistani mentality, be it any ethnicity of Pakistan.
With Pakistan I can tell you whats the problem. We are screwed! We sat on it and let it simmer for too long specially during 70s and 80s. Even if we have to clean it now, its bound to hurt.
I sometimes get astonished to see my cousins, educated, family men and every bit "modern" cheering up Mumtaz Qadri and other losers like him. I had so many run ins with them and sometime i even fear that they will kill me during my next visit telling other that I did blasphemy

You know I said it in other post and I stick to that no matter what anyone says. When your history books and current scholar wannabees glorify killers like Ghazi Alam Deen and Mumtaz Qadri and even Osama bin Ladin, then there is not wonder everyone wants to be a religious hero by killing Innocent citizens. Its the easiest way to become one.
