Re: MMA’s self-destruction
I would be happy to see ANP in action in next election. At least they will do something for the province.

Well, I feel that next NWFP government would be of PPP (Sherpao) and PML(Q) in coalition. But then NAP would be a strong party in next NWFP assembly.
Re: MMA’s self-destruction
In last election most of MMA votes were from other than their traditional voters. If MMA had only received votes from their traditionally voters in 2002, it would have been hard for them to win even 20 seats, when today they have 57 seats in NA.
One can safely say that in coming election it would be hard for MMA to get more than handful of NA seats (at most 20 to 25 if they are lucky) and there is good chance that next NWFP government won’t be of MMA.
Imran and his tonga party are now gunning for Fazlur Rehman, so the MMA is truly history. :)

You do realize you actually 'believe' the elections are going to be fair hah!

Are you suggesting "Talibanisation" of NWFP is on a decline? Would that mean Musharraf won't be needed? Means less support from ahem outside supporters? But then no MMA gov't can be considered as Mushy victory too. A win-win situation for Mushy.
