Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

HZ (Moderator)
So its Ok to call women bitch’s and slut’s? Suggest slapping them around? U call this moderation? And when others respond in the language these nutcases understand u edit them. Iam confused and disappointed here.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

fartguru,
first rest assured, an offense of the rules is taken as an offense of the rules. now while we cant do anyhting abt someone’s way of treating women, we can do smthng about what someone posting here posts for another member. there is a diff between direct insults and and insulting way of addressing a 3rd non present party that has no presence at the forum. both are immoral, but have to be treated in slightly diff ways when it comes to moderating.
in this case the member using the words and ideas you mentioned above was notified. members retaliating in any wrong way are also ponited out whats wrong.
in the end guys, what it all comes down to is everyone’s taking responsibility for their own behaviour. if everyone is sober and careful and restrains ther insults, there’s be no worries in the first place…there ought to be a light atmosphere here so all can enjoy with harmony…

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

Understand your point and appreciate your candid resposne. If I understood u correctly, I can call Qazi Hussein/Maulvi Diesel i.e., misogynistic male population of Pakistan (third parties) faggots w/o being censured, hey thats great…

Thanks,

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

No. if thats what you made out of my post read and re read.
No one can call anyone anything insulting. i pointed out in reply to your earlier concern how both cases can be dealt in diff ways. so first you have to know there’s no bias here. there’s no reason for anyone to feel threatened by the fact that their post was edited and someone else’s wasnt. here PBH said smthg to someone and was warned and asked to mind it, the post wasnt edited right away. your post in repsonse to his, though written in humour, ended up being edited right away because of its nature. in order to avoid a total war scene in the thread and to save it from being locked etc. it was deemed more imp to tackle your post first as it could have made the thread end up in more grave situations than PBH’s post. by no means were PBH’s ideas or language acceptable and they have been edited.
so guys, please just mind attitudes and be respectful towards all and there’d be no issues. there are no biases and everyones the same.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

I am almost certain Musharraf wants the nation to be embroiled in such massive issues like mixed Marathons and whether the President can sing a song with youngsters. It helps the nation to focus better on such important matters. We really don't want our nation to spend much time in talking about vanilla issues like whether we should be ruled by a military dictator in the first place and what should be our national policy about dealings with neighboring countries and world's super powers.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

The funny thing here is that the liberal secularists here make fun of convervative people by calling them "bearded fundos" like on this thread. THey also call people "mullahs" in a bad way. Yet when these liberal elite thugs are confronted they acuse conservatives of being anti-women, extreme or ever. Yet these liberals do not tolerate conservative point of view.

Don't post here thinking your liberal fanatic views wont be challenged here. This forum is not KalaAngrez.com

Daddy is watching you boys.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

^ So does pointing out your twisted views (calling women disgusting names and calling yourself a Muslim) and utter hypocrisy make one a liberal fanatic? So be it. I'd rather be a "liberal fanatic" than tolerate your BS about saying how women should be slapped because they want to attend an all-womens event, or run alongside men.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

listen lady. I also have a mom, and I truly respect women. But the point is that women like film actress meera, and all these elite women do not represent average women. Bashing meera or other extreme feminist types does not mean that i am bashing all women.

WHen I said slaaap that asma jahangir I was only kidding. I tend to me more macho on this forum then I really am.

But don’t deny that these types of women are liberals and have their own agendas that they want to impose on rest of society.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

OMG an entire post without “bitch/slut/hoe” … shaabash, i am proud of you

sunno naa… guys like u… they respect ther mothers but that’s it… anyone female who is not related to them is fair game for bashing and insults and other crap, adn that’s the type of guy u sound like… if she doens’t share ur blood then its oaky to go around calling her a bitch or slut or wahtever…

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

ok stop generalizing here.

I was only basing that Asma jahangir character and not anybody else. Now stop trying to be mother Tresa

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

If asma jahangir or any woman like her had a son or brother, would you go up to him and say "your mother is a slut"? If someone said the same to your mother or sister, whether she was doing something to incite such a comment or not, what would you do?

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

do you know what this biatch asma jahangir’s sister is up to ? Her sister jilani wants to start the sick homosexual stuff in our country.

Read http://ww.irinnews.org/wwdreport.asp?ReportID=47032&SelectRegion=Asia

I seriously think traditional pakistanis need to crack hard on this type of people before they corrupt our society and we start seeing gay parades in down town karachi.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

ok the gay stuff is gross :yukh:

But women wanting to run or even attend the vagina monologues (which is all-women) then no i dont c the problem in that…

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

so you think showing vagina monologue in public in islambad is somehow ok

And you speak for women  yea right.

Take your family to see vagina monologue before you come here and advocate such a thing.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

If the vagina-monologue, a show FOR women, BY women, allows only women in the audience, , then why do you care? A mixed audience would be taking it too far.

If you acutally look into what the group is about, instead of letting the name stop you and gross you out, then you would see that it's not as vile as some make it out to be. V-day is about empowering women across the world, mostly ending violence against them. I don't agree with the western feminist ideology that sleeping around and prancing half-naked is a symbol of "equality" but unfortunately those types get the most attention.

Anyway, I'm offtopic as it is.... bottom line, its not nice to call people names :D

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

listen what you do in bronx is your business, but pakistan is not bronx. Do all the feminist ideology crap in bronx. But this stuff does not belong in pakistan.

Hi!

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

Ah right… So protesting for womens rights, ending violence against them and educating them has no place in Pakistan… :k:

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

how is showing vagina mologue in pakistan going to educate women ?

Those women sure need education , and a ending violence against them is very good. but dont give me your feminist crap about vagina monologue.

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

did you not even read anything I said in my next-to-last post??
If it’s an all-women audience, an all-women cast, no men allowed, then why do you care? Is it the name VAGINA that scares you or grosses you out? Change the name of the group/event, whatever, their aim is still the same

Re: Mixed Marathon in Lahore-Finally

Did anyone break 2hr 30mins? Are we likely to see them in the New York Marathon giving Paula Ratcliffe run for her money?

I believe Pakistani women have great potential to be great athletes - (and a few men aswell)
