I believe Misbah captaincy has alot to do with the pitches he captained. His way of captaincy is very much suited for UAE . Batsmen need to hit the ball hard and run hard too to make runs ( if they dont play spin well ) hence his way of stopping runs and hence make batter mistake and get wicket is not wroking in Austraila. Here the batsman are playing shots with timing and getting more and more confidence . That same goes to faiulre of yasir too.
SO mistake by misbah , he didnt adotped well in austrualia either as a batter or as a captain.

Misbah should retire after this series
Make Younis Khan ((he was innovative and aggressive (not dull like Inzi and Misbah) and impressed with his smart bowling changes and field settings during his brief stint as captain …but Younis is also an emotional guy and resigned himself as he just could not handle dressing room politics))** interim captain for a year or so** until Sarfaraz (needs to show greater consistency with gloves & bat) or somebody-else is ready to take over the reigns.
Azhar Ali is ultra defensive and certainly not captaincy material imo.

I would also like Sarfraz to takeover but he needs to show more consistency especially with the bat. His performance in NZ and Australia so far has been disappointing.
