Look at another calm individual (Jayawardene) who like Misbah may not exactly be a flamboyant character but he gets the job done. Just goes about his business in a calm professional manner without making too much fuss about anything. SLA were all at sea and struggling not so long ago under Dishan’s directionless leadership but now they seem to be playing like a unit and Jaya must get a lot of credit for that. They look the in-form team at the moment and are getting better & better in CB series while the others have been patchy. They have a nice mix of seniors (Sanga - has been a bit off colour, Dilshan, Jaya, Matthews, Kulasekara) and juniors (Chandimal, Thirimanne, Perera) who seem to know their respective roles in the team which is all credit to the new captain.

could not agree more with the following comment about Jaya (could say the same thing about Misbah!)

true that, mahela is pure class… he is a fantastic cricketer and a representative of the game.. competitive but good spirited.. awesome guy!!

I’ve always said that he is sooooooooooooooo much better than arrogant Sanga as a captain!
