Honestly, the only times I've heard of Mirpuris, it's been extremely negative. How come so many people have a problem with them? I think it's a British Asian thing.

Mirpur is a Region in Jummu and Kashmir, some peeps like to know themselvs as Kashmiri but WE are actually Jammuites but mostly known as Mirpuries **OUR **Language is Pahri, whis is a mix of Punjabi to some extent…
WE Mostly belong to the Punjabi castes such as the Jatts, Choudharys, Sudhans, Rajput etc
So u must of already guessed WE are actuall people like yourself, and not some type of food or bollywood actor tht tht has died!!!
i have seen alot of bashing against Miripuri people on this forum, for what reason i dont know. from what i have seen Jummu and Kashmir is not as advanced as the cities of pakistan.
The Education is not very good, nor is the Health care, if some one is dying or in a critical state, chances are tht person wont make it through the night. The MP’s of the area pocket the money or spend it on nuisance things, when they should be spending it on Education and Health. unfortunetly the people of Jammu and Kashmir are not tht educated and think very backwoulds…
It’s funny living in a western country we get labelled as terroists and paki thugs, then by our own kind we get labelled again…:hinna:

So personally I got nothing against them!

It is a more of a uk thing. I think what the other banned poster said in the other thread was out of order. Every Pakistani person in the uk should be proud to be paistani and not hating another particular region.

alot of people have had the gutts and say how they feel about Mirpuris , veery veery interesting, some people just heard through others.
I think some Mirpuris do act a bit to up themselves, cause alot of them are rich:yahoo:, who’s seen the big kotiya in AK, no not cause they do drugs ( can’t speak for all, cause I dont know all of them )
alot of them came to the UK and got into Business’s and have made monies I am talkin about most from ratta and dadyal and the children just act spoilt:dhimpak: and rich, but alot are educated or in education so hopefully they shall act more down to earth, alot of my cousins, and brother are drivin the top cars and I do think it is gettin a bit to there head’s so can relate to some of the comments and alot of the youngsters think they dont have to study to hard cause they can turn to daddies business, and they carry this attititude around.
Anyways inshallah some shall grow up, but if u get to know, theses so called gangsters like someone put it lol, they are nice sweet people,( I can’t speak for all of them so don’t go kissin up to them

(some are) but even wid the basics they have become rich and talk sense,
and now they are educating their kids, cause they never had the opportunity as the education was quite poor in AK, but that dont mean they are dumb!
and also teachin us not to forget our roots, I think this is were alot of people think mirpuris are backwards, (cause they have become western so should we.)
