By us i meant Afghans/Pashtuns and Pathans as some of youse prefere to call us. It was you dear. Yes if it's blamed on us then obviously i conclude in that. No there is nothing done by which i should feel guilty.

Aryan,

I always enjoy reading your posts and respect you for sticking up for the Pakhtun people but I have noticed (as others have) that you do tend to use YOU vs. US alot, and that is not right as we are all Muslims first, then Pakistani. It’s great that you educate on misconceptions people have about the Pakhtun but please be more careful in the way you use certain words. Even though I am Punjabi (and proud of my roots) I never say you Kashmiris or you Sindhi etc. because although the differentiation is important, in the greater scheme of things, we are Pakistani first and foremost. In the future please be more considerate and don’t lump anyone who is not Pakhtun as “you”…sounds really disparaging to be honest with you.

Anyhow, was just my two cents…hope you didn’t mind

:flower2:

sweetpie, just an aside. he is an afghan, he is one of those who would have NWFP leave Pakistan and join a 'greater' afghan nation, he has posted anti-pakistan songs and verses, and has more often than not made disparaging remarks about Pakistan in the life he had before a few posters spanked his ass around. since then he goes around making veiled remarks like the sorry yello he is.

when discussing pakistan affairs sweetpie, its best to only offer contempt to this clown, if anything.

Good that you told me, if you find anything rude or racist or any kind of thing just tell me and i would for most try to stop using those words again.
Yeah that’s great, be proud of what ever you are, every race has it’s own speciality.
Happy Now!

Now this is what most people don’t under estimate when talking on big issues. Man IMAGINE, Punjabis were cut into two pieces one with us and one with Pakistan, and in our part we do discriminating acts against them. Now tell me, would’nt you want your own race, your own blood to be united with you? Off course you would, now this is what we want, we want to be together as one body. I hope you got what i mean.

I think you will find varied opinions on this even from the Pakhtun residing in the NWFP of Pakistan. I have many Pakhtun friends here and believe me most are extremely proud of being Pakistani and would have it no other way.

I can understand where you are coming from and the feeling you have for your people but it’s one thing if they were being massacred or treated unfairly at any level but they have freedoms in Pakistan that they would perhaps never have if they became a part of Afghanistan. Just take women’s rights statistics for example and that will give you an idea in and of itself.

BTW, being Pakhtun is not any more or less special than being of another ethnic group but it seems that you tend to let your “Pakhtun-ness” get in the way of alot of issues. Is that perhaps an insecurity?

:flower1:

Sweeti, you wouldn't believe how much pissed i am right now, i wrote a whole big post but my computer just $%^&*( up! and i hate it now.....can't remind me what i wrote but now can't be stuffed writing it again....
