Hypothetical situation:
A *virus sadly takes the lives of millions of Italian Citizens. *
The labour force takes a massive hit and Italy invites the citizens of Pakistan among other countries to come to Italy and join its labor force.
However they stipulate that an investment/fee of $8000 approx RS.700000 should be paid by those who will enter the country.
If we assume that loans cannot be applied for and the only source of funds that are used to fund this fee are funds procured by sale of assets (land, jewellery, vehicle, business and even livestock) and/or cash savings how many households/family (180,000,000/6= 30, 000, 000 huseholds) would be able to send atleast 1 person from their family?
Now let's assume a second scenario where sources of funds for fee can also be borrowed from family/friends (not banks) aswell as come from asset sales and cash savings, how many household would be able to send atleast 1 person from their family?
This discussion should enlighten us how able Pakistani citizens would be able to take advantage of a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity without assistance and how many families would need to depend on others to take advantage of said opportunity.
Look forward to your insight.
The premise seems a bit shaky at best................**Pakistanis may be desperate for work! but not that desperate!
Why not change the scenerio from VIRUS killing millions to one where a tidal wave wiped out all of South Italy, or a Volcano destroyed the city of Rome!.....and Venice sank into the sea!
No persons no matter how desperate would want to go where a Virus killed millions!
