LANDI KOTAL: Local Taliban militants snatched computers from ringtone shops in the main Landi Kotal Bazaar on Thursday, sources said.

Earlier, they added, the militants had warned them to stop downloading ringtones onto mobiles, terming it an “un-Islamic” practice. Around 10 armed Taliban came to the bazaar and took away computers from ringtone shops at around 5pm.

A political administration official told Daily Times on condition of anonymity that the Khasadar force could not control the Taliban, who he said were searching for a base in the Landi Kotal tehsil of Khyber Agency. A few weeks ago, the local Taliban had kidnapped a Christian drummer but late released him. staff report

tell me whata wrong with that?? they were downloading indian music ringtones. and music is haram in islam. if you belive that. one group of people trying to put rest on the right path. you want people like mushy who will allow anything in muslim country?

You tell them to first push people into mosque, throw balti of water on them for wazoo, grab their heads for rukoo and sajood, once you are done then you can come here... we will salute you.
