Ok some people want to belive something even though there is no evidence for it up to them no point going on an on.
All i will say is sahabah the people who knew the prophet (saw) better than any of us never even done nothing like birthday business at all muslims love the prophet (saw) and the best way to show your love for the prophet (saw) is to follow quran and sunnah this is the method and tareeqah anything else is deviating and called innovation.
Just as a footnote friend of mine in UK telling me some mosques have decorations and disco lights in the mosque for this event even some have birthday cakes and he was not not joking either if this is what is happening in UK then this is becoming a joke.
