I am still in Pakistan and waiting for good days to live in Canada as you and your family but there is a good improvement in my job. Now i am working as Lecturer in ***** in a Government College in grade . I was inducted in the Government service through Public Service Commission. after my this new job many people advised me that don't go to Canada because you have a very good job here and you will not find the same job in canada. what is your opinion?if you ask about my opinion, i am still interested to live in canada. as you know my problems. My case is in processing and almost 9 months has been passed. Now coming to your mail, Yes Alhumdulilah I am enjoying life in Canada and kids have adopted it well and doing well at school and overall, I would say its nice experience. I haven’t started any job as yet but I am going for English language course and I enjoy it and I am planning to do any job may be next year or so why I am taking this much time its very complex to explain but I am getting there slowly and gradually. Congratulations on getting such a good job. I am really happy for you and I must say you deserved it.The gist of your email, I found one question, Canadian Immigration is Good for you OR Life in Canada is good or not? It is most fundamental and most multifold question ever found and it’s very relative in terms. Mostly depends on, what is the definition of “Good” and how one can interprets, something can be “Good” for one person may not be for other, it is complex phenomenon and I am not in any position to comment on that Canadian Immigration is good or bad or will it suite you or not. All I can say Pakistan and Canada are two entirely different countries and both have their own distinctive characters and uniqueness, completely different heritage, culture and social structures, economics and demographic diversities. Hence these both countries offer different possibilities, opportunities and challenges so it’s really not easy to say which one is “Good” or “Bad”. Both have their Pros and Cons and as the saying goes compare Apples to Apples and Peaches to Peaches but not Apples to Peaches AND all glitter is not gold. We have immigrated after given very serious thought for not short period of time but almost for seven years before we applied. We were not sure even then and we had many more questions unanswered and many mysteries unsolved. However one thing which we were sure of was that we will never know it unless we see it ourselves and go through the process and experiment every bit of it. So we accepted the challenge and we got out on the adventure. **** has to quit a very good job (easy to understand equal to Grade ***), we left my very ill parents-in-law and my parents and many good relatives and friends, left every thing ever we had (burnt our boats) still noting in hands but just having our faith in Allah and confidence in ourselves, we came here, we are going through many challenges every day since then and we are faced with uphill struggle which is not easy but what we have Faith in ALLAH, so far what have we got the answer is Nothing and everything depends on half glass is empty or half glass is full. May be only time will tell, was our decision was “Right” or “Wrong” and may be even time will not be able to answer this mystery, who knows.There are many hundreds and thousands of immigrates come to Canada every year from different parts of the world, many have success stories and many more even has failures, does it stops any body coming over the answer is “No”.I like Canada for very unique reasons and circumstances which are different in-nature from most of other immigrates, it has been two and half years since then, we have wonderful time and as you said “Quality” life but on other hand we have to pay the price for it as well. So to cut the chase short, in my opinion about Immigration is its not as sweet as it might seems and it is not as bitter as might people have told you. All I can conclude with, don’t listen to any one and every one, focus of finding facts, Internet is biggest and most dynamic resource, use it as best as you can and make your OWN discussion without influences but based on facts.Best of luck and best wishes for your great happiness and success in life where ever you may live.
