Ramadan checkpoint: Finished the Quran once, Alhamdulillah. Want to do more ibadah. My sleep schedule is so random, no point in trying to fix it now. Will just re-adjust after Ramadan.

2015 checkpoint: Didn't reach my fitness goals, or my career goals. I plan to intensify workouts and networking in the next coming weeks.

Lets see.. 2015 check point (these are supposed to be things we didn't achieve, right?)

1) It wasn't my own but parents wanted it. They wanted me married this year and that doesn't look like it will be happening so that's that. lol, i can't say i'm too torn up about this one though. ;)
2) Was supposed to travel, stuff keeps getting pushed back.
3) I have only gained 1 kg in the last 6 months. The goal was 5 but it doesn't seem to be happening.
4) Still not over my fear of animals but i must confess, i haven't actually made any real efforts. Plus no one is helping me with this so yea.

Well, I had 2 different strategies. One which i liked and one not so much.
a) Eat all the junk food under the sun as it helps other people gain weight in all the wrong places. Confession: I ALREADY knew that junk food has no effect on me whatsoever but i ate tons of it anyway because it tastes good. Plus when someone walks in on you stuffing your face with french fries you can say “I’m trying to gain weight” and no one judges you. lol, yes i know, i’m lying to myself. gah.

b) Eat healthy: this is NOT as easy as it looks. Healthy food tastes TERRIBLE. It’s no fun plus no one else wants to eat food that makes you gain weight. It’s a struggle i tell ya.

Plus, i think ramadan knocked off the 1 kilo i did get. I’m scared to get onto the weighing scale :confused:

Same here! I've ate so much junk that Ramadan feels like a detox. And healthy food is not my preference either. After Ramadan let's share strategies and recipes! Stay tuned...
