Does this mean M$ will abonden MSN portal for Yahoo. Yahoo is much much bigger when it comes to a one stop hub for information. I personally rely on Yahoo for Reuters headlines, stock tickers, weather and the biggest MOVIES reviews and rating. I just can't understand any other movies related site. Its so easy with Yahoo. On the other hand IM and Mail is M$ domain with its LIVE launch. But Yahoo is also big in Mail. Let see if they merge it or keep them seperate. Yahoo Messenger, Briefcase and Photo services were already going down the hill.
But it could turn in either way. More monopoly less free services by M$ and Google or a race to capture more and more user can bring a lots of improvements. Specially free intergrated solutions for Mobile users etc.
