No really? :p So the question is do we have any metro-sexual guys here?
whats wrong with this? ![]()
Well whats right about it?

Men should get manicures and pedicures occasionally. Skip the nail hardners and all, just get them cleaned and buffed. Gives a neat and tidy look. Waxing? well if you have got hair growing all over like on the back and neck (gross), its better to get it waxed. Get laser treatment I say. Pluck hair that shouldn’t be there (ears, nose…yuck) eyebrows shouldn’t be shaped and arched but if u have a lot of extras populating ur forehead, take them off. Keep your face and bodies moisturised, dry skin looks awful not manly! Keep yourselves tidy! But no makeup please.
Oh and wearing clean, odorless clothes doesn't kill either. You don't have to look preppy, just make sure there is somewhat of a co-ordination going on and you're not wearing dirty clothes. The shabby, messy look doesn't equate the relaxed, casual look. Note the difference!
Femme all you described is metro-sexual. That isnt what a guy does. Next thing people would want would men to laser surgery their beards. I mean come on. Guys arent supposed to do all that stuff. Its acting like a priss. Come on which guy puts moisturiser on his hands and face?
Laser surgery on beards??? never! Stubbles are sexy, if everything else is right. Guys assume that they are not supposed to do all this stuff since they relate it to females and think it sissy to care about physcial appearance. Dry skin looks awful and I know many guys who will moisturise, almost as many as who won't. I wouldn't want to touch or be touched by someone with nasty, dry, wrinkly skin...bleah! Untidy guys are a turnoff. Trust me.
Untidy is one thing. But hair plucking? Come on. Guys should look clean and tidy i agree. But there is a limit where one goes before he loses his masculinity. Most guys in the past didnt do all this and they were considered handsome or got the girls. Why the difference now?
the only cosmetic for men that i have heard of is "male polish" ( nail polish) apparently it was pretty big couple of years ago among men.
^ Black polish worn by Goths? Yea, they don't count...
Plus from what i have seen and heard, canadian men arent exactly ones i would describe as manly. Wusses is what i have heard them being described as.

Ok CM we can put aside plucking. Most men do not need plucking. That is only for the hairy beasts, the ape-ish looking guys. Sometimes you see men who have hair growing on their arms all the way down to their fingers or hair on their back peeking out from behind their collars. That's a rare find, thank Lord! If you are anything like that get urself treated. But again normally guys do not need plucking. If you do not need it don't bother. A little hair is good.

I think that's a desease called Robin Williams Syndrome...
CM, all the wusses go outside Canada, all the real men stay in Canada, club deer to death, eat them raw and then fight bears just for the hell of it.
Yeah right man. European men are gay, but seriously Canadian guys got no back bone. I have met 3 guys so far. All whipped. Heck Canadian girls agree with what is say.
The desis might be different. But canadian guys, whipped even without getting any. Now that is sad.
dude how old are you? you meet three canadians and generalize it onto the whole of canada. you arent past the phase when boys think body hair's what masculinity is all about. in which case, you shouldnt be shaving your armpit hair - it is meant to trap your pheromones and keep you smelling musky and male.
nothing wrong with a well-groomed man. all the girls who say "ooh such a turn off" on this thread would gladly let their unibrowed, blueblack-toe-nailed, hairy buttwala soulmate get his tweezing, pedicure and wax.
bottomline is, if you are a guy and feel the need for it, go for it. girls like their men clean.
^
isnt there a middle line? is the choice really browplucking verses being clean??
i mean cant a guy stay clean without doing all the extra stuff?
sure. most guys wouldnt need any plucking or biore nose patches, but if someone does need it, lets not knit our perfectly-shaped eyebrows or wrinkle our blackhead free noses and call him gay for being clean.

**Fraud there is a difference between looking good and looking prissy. What applies to women applies to men. A woman who takes two hours to get up and looks like a done up ho is just as bad as a guy that takes that long. *
and what is considered "looking good" for some is considered "prissy" by others. what someone in kansas may describe as prissy ..may be the norm in a big city.
Being prissy and delicate is being metro-sexual.
Well if someone is effeminate, its a diff thing, but there are plenty of "nazuk" guys who are not err "metrosexual" take a walk in karachi anytime and see the 5'3" 85lb guys walking around ...
Now those things that fall into women's domain.. like makeup is a diff thing, but there are plenty of things that a guy can do to look good, dressing nice, taking care of himself, his appearance, skin, hair, clothes etc is important.
I would rather be a guy who over does it than underdoing it, if i had a penny for everytime i saw some guy who had an issue in grooming, i would be really rich. There are plenty of the major culprits too, where the nasal hair is descending liek spiders, or have ear hair problems or eyebrows making them look like oscar the grouch :)
