I hate this writer - he is a literal khota

What’s the controversy about this drama ?

^ Just google the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and you will witness the nasty mind that wrote this overhyped nonsense drama. Now if the man who wrote it is a jahil then what can you say about this drama which has a huge fanbase in Pak? Not surprising since majority share his views on women, cheating and feminism.

There are so many things wrong with the drama that I wonder what the main actors were thinking. One of the actresses with a smaller role distantiated herself from Khalil-ur-Rehman's remarks about women recently but anyway.

Have you watched the drama? what specifically pisses you off so much in the drama…i really want to know… what in the drama about women, cheating and feminism is so bad?

A woman being a douche being portrayed negatively…whats so bad about that?

But this is cherry on top, fittay mooh.

Now what gems do you all expect from such a ghatiya mard…

Mard hamesha masoom hota hai, bas aurat hi gharab hai. From such retarded minds you get Mere paas tum ho and “do takkay ki aurat” which Pakistanis can’t get enough of. Yikes.

Now about the drama… I haven’t watched it religiously but got the gist of it. Both Mehwish and Shahwar cheat on their partners. Yet Shahwar gets to keep his biwi and his marriage is saved while Mehwish isn’t that “lucky” since Danish doesn’t forgive her and Mehwish iends up being a divorced woman with empty hands. But Shahwar’s marriage survives. It should’ve ended too, no? Even in these dramas we teach people, especially our men, double standards. Women lose and forgive, men get away with things.

If your man (Shahwar) is a cheater, we learn you’ll be forgiven by your wife. Yes, he’s made zaleel but loving wife is unable to show him the door. However, if your wife (Mehwish) cheats on you, not only will karma immediately hit her and does she end up alone, the poor husband also becomes rich in 5 seconds after getting rid of an evil do takkay ki aurat, and he also finds a wonderful (potential?) replacement wife. Wahhhh what a kismat. In real life most women who get cheated on by their khasm rarely get so lucky. Most often end up fortiving the husband, ghar bachaney ke liye. Plus we say they must be at fault, either she doesn’t keep him satisfied in bed and he has to find happiness outside or “mard to mard hota hai, 1 wife is not enough”. No such rahm for cheating women. Either in dramas or real life. if there’s a drama about a cheating wife who gets away with it, I’m not aware of it

I’m against cheating by both genders and am pro-mard btw :smokin:

Jaan chuti dramey se :phew:

Don’t tell me you cried too?

Heard about this drama and social media chatter on it.

Watched a clip where a family member and a guy is crying non-stop on death of this character.

Looks like they developed strong emotional attachment to the character.
