i know ali zafar will do great, he's got the whole package! katrina, good looks, but dont know about her acting. Imran, he might not act so well but i dont know,,, there is something appealing about him

I havenā€™t yet seen Tere Bin Laden despite having had the Dvd with me for months now. However i would def catch this one only for Ali :wub:. He really is a talented, multifaceted guy :k:.

But yeah having said that, I havenā€™t seen this one yet. I might just watch it for Ali Zafar, no expectations though.

OK film...Katrina was good for a change. Imran was OK...Ali Zafar hammed throughout the movie.

*I was listening to the song Madubala and I think that Ali Zafar tried hard to sound like Kishore Kumar and say the line like he would have but didn't succeed at it. Imran is unfortunately a bad actor he's just in the safe zone because he's Amir's nephew and just like Abhishek who got movies despite having no skills transfered in him from his dad he is forcefully said to be one of the Bollywood's biggies. Same with Ranbir but he came prepared and he's much more open and less shy. Katrina is working because of her looks and links to Salman Khan. So this movie if liked by people is only liked because of the whole package presented to the audience and not the acting, story etc - Yashraj has sucessfully made it pass it as an entertainer. *

Just watched. Movie was uneven and at times quite silly. But it did have its moments!! Songs were good specially Madhu bala song. Ali zafarā€™s singing and dancing were really good.

Ali zafar owned Imran khan and everyone else in this movie with a really good comedy performance. There are quite a few scenes in which you cannot help but laugh at Ali zafarā€™s expressions and gestures :hehe: I felt really good after the movie considering Ali zafar held his own in front of such star cast! :k:

**SPOILERS ALERT. Dont read below. **

There are two really hilarious scenes where Ali completely stole the show.

  1. His internet chat with Katrina
  2. When he sees his ex playing with Imran and the subsequent scene when he asks Imran about it :rotfl:

I saw it.

hmmmmm, katrina is utter rubbish, she looks too old as well for imran who looks about 17.

ali zafar is good, but hes just a cameo really, i wanted more of him. too much of imran and katrina.

this is the first time ive watched a katrina film, and ended up not lking her at all. mightve also been the interview i watched with her and the 2 boys and she seemed annoying, and refused to speak hindi, and she made it obvious SHES the star in the film, NOT the 2 guys.

Katrina couldnā€™t pull off the ā€œbindaasā€ girl character but she looks gorgeous which is perhaps all that the audience cares about!

Imran :no: If heā€™s smart, he should quit acting and go into some other career in the movie industry.

Ali Zafar .. agree with Saby. I hate him when he sings but heā€™s a good actor, he pulls of comedy scenes very nicely.

I was expecting the movie to be uber lame but the plot was kinda interesting with a good few twists. 5/10 Iā€™d say.

I dont think you would have said that had you heard that song. I had new found respect for Ali zafar after that performance in Coke studio.

Beautiful song and very nicely sung by Ali :). Heā€™s truly a very talented guy and has now proven his worth in acting too :eek:. First painting, then modelling, then singing and now acting. Superb yar! :flower1:

Wondering whatā€™s next for him now after exploring and doing great in all these areas :cool:.

I just did and I still don't like him. :p A singer to me is someone like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Arif Lohar, Shafqat Amanat Ali etc. These young'uns cannot sing. I don't even like Atif Aslam. They may be able to sing better than the average bathroom singers but they aren't singers, especially if you listen to them live.

Barbie: I am gonna judge your sense of music if you didnt like his singing in Dastaan e ishq. Okay try Yar daddi from coke studio too. or Allah hoo from coke studio season 1.

The thing is, he was not an accomplished or learned singer like Rahet Fateh Ali or Shafqat or Arif Lohar. But he has improved remarkably and has come a long way since those channo days.
