I wouldn't pursue any further if she refuses to talk to me on the phone, and she knows it's for the marriage purposes..

However, It's such a put off if I see a girl in a chat room 24/7 singing songs, flirting with boys.. now her character is questionable!

You are ALREADY ENGAGED.

You want to talk to your fiance...she says no.

Do you respect her more?

She says yes...do you respect her less?

^ Hmm why didn't you yell before to make it understandable.. ofcourse I know her enough to be engaged to her, so it wont bother me if she refuses to talk to me on the phone or not.. and no it will not make me respect her more and no it will not make me question her character either..

If I was a guy, I'd be more concerned if the girl asked to see me alone.

Its quality, not quantity, so to speak. A girl can have questionable character without ever seeing the guy in person.

  1. How many guys has she spoken with on the phone before?
  2. What did she say?
  3. Was it the guy down the street that sells bananas on the side of the street?
  4. Did she flirt with all those guys on the phone like she does with me?
  5. Does she ask to meet them?
  6. Did she meet them?
  7. If she did meet them what did she do?
  8. And did she have some hayaa not to do that stuff?
  9. Did she do all that stuff?
  10. If she did all that stuff how can she be loyal to me?
  11. She must be cheating on me!

But then I realise I am not a woman so I just ignore it all and chat with her on the phone :D

why doubt her character ??? he asked to talk .. so if she doesnt talk she is a pious girl and if she does she is automatically the worst girl in town ?? , .... some men are equally chalaak as some women...

yeah logically it doesn't make sense...but this happened to a cousin of mine. everything she did in between mangni n shadi...her husband assumes she's done the same with 5 other guys in college. and to be honest, from what i do remember of her college days (i was like 10 yrs old at the time), he's kinda right :/

a girl should not marry a man who is soooo shaki in the very beginning only.

good for her if he refuses the rishta just because she agreed to spoke with him before marriage.
