Re: Men respecting women
^agreed completely. It is not a gender thing. Those who disrespect have no respect for themselves nor do anyone else respect them. Fact: you have to give respect to get it.

What is the opposite of those who are around these women?
Men living far away from family? Well, understanding 'may not be' there if they have no contact with women whatsoever... but respecting/disrespecting is irrelevant to being around women.
It is a personal trade and how they look at women in general.
Yup.
Respect is not confine to only women . Either a person is respectful or not . Its not only for one gender or age .
Like everything else we learn it from our elders . But men tend to follow men more . So if I am respectful , then it means that most probably I picked it from my father , elder brother , elder cousin , elder uncle , some close friend etc . As they say ''A man is known by the company he keeps'' .
So true
Re: Men respecting women
But I still think that a man's relationship w/ his wife is going to be quite similar to that w/ his mother so I do think it does depend on his mother at the end of the day. Father too but mostly mother. And of course a guys' ideals of his women are either exactly like his mom or the opposite (depending on the type of relationship they had; good or bad).
thumbs-up ![]()
Re: Men respecting women
^ Yep i agree ditto.
Women deserve respect too and so do men… but people these days have no respect for mothers or sisters… let alone for brothers. ![]()
ermm.. NO! Men are men. End of. If your not their mother/daughter/aunty/sister, Dont expect ANY respect... well it'll last a few years maybe if your lucky. Then bam! its gone!
I dont know what kind of men are you surrounded with. You better change your company
aur yee bakwas band karoo ...oops i meen please yee bakwas..oops again.. I mean please aisey tu na boleen na
I may be jumping in too late, but the fact is that its sooo true. I’ve seen men who have sisters, mother around them before marriage are much more understanding, respectful and are super caring. Btw, why are you asking it now Sara? ![]()
