^Agree.
It's easy to be all brave and open-minded about it here....but then chicken out when it comes to parental pressure.
The way I see it, in this situation....the person more likely to hurt/insulted is the woman.

Naah, won't be. Most men in their 30's don't need to beg/ask for the maa to accept/approve of the women he believes would make a worthwhile wife. All most of them tend to do is expect for their support and cooperation in the matter, and that remains that.
^ The above however is just an opinion.
Re: Men in your 30s...
just my observation........
I ask because the unmarried women in their thirties I know tend to be more into living life to the fullest. They get excited, make plans, do stuff. They're not waiting around for others to organize things for them or make time for them. I can't speak for everyone, just my unmarried friends around me.
They don't strike me as stubborn or negative. I know it can happen sometimes that you get set in your ways if you're living alone for a while, but I just feel the ones I see are generally more willing to try new things and enjoy life.
Re: Men in your 30s...
My cousin chose a 32 year old girl to marry over the 21 year old his mom picked out for him.

I think this is quiet fair question. Yes there would be objection from parents perhaps but you know what..don't know about other fellas but if i really cared about this woman..i would make sure i would convince my parents.

Actually this is very true about unmarried women in 30s. They are usually carefree and much more mature in their approach to a life in general. I als find them very understanding and quiet flexible in approach. And to add more..find them full of life.
Re: Men in your 30s...
Is that question about the second, third, or fourth marriage? Because, you know, first is out of the question. :D
Will let you know once i'm into my thirties.
Re: Men in your 30s...
My younger brother who is 27 wants to marry some one mature in her 30s. He does not want "bachiyann" as he calls young girls. My mother is having a hard time with him :D
If someone a year or two younger than him is a bachi then he'd be a bacha for the 30 something.

sadly, you'd be surprised. There are some ridiculously pathetic momma's boys out there that can't stand up to their mom when they find someone they think would be perfect for them.
Re: Men in your 30s…
yes.
Re: Men in your 30s...
I think in Pakistan, even now, parents usually are in charge of finding a suitable rishta and all for both girls and guys. Guys have freedom of letting their mums know about their pasand/na pasand but girls usually give this right to their parents.

Maybe but everyone has an idea of a life partner and its their right.
Re: Men in your 30s...
...are you willing to marry a woman in her 30s?
I'm already married. However, it would depend more on compatibility than anything else.
Re: Men in your 30s…
How do you know ??
Now I have me reservations, she is kinda shameless telling stuff about her self.
