My enquiry was an offshoot of a discussion with a friend who hates skinny girls and a lot of guys i’ve spoken to have often told me they hate girls who are too thin. I was just trying to gauge opinion on here to see if that was quite a general thing or just my mate. Anyways, chado. I dun wana know now

why are we attracted to certain types of ppl?? my pschy teach could have at least taught us that much..
but i know that ppl w. symetrical faces are more attractive than those w.o symetrical faces.

I mean i know why, skinny or dark or light or curvy or tall or short women etc are more appealing to some than others. But you know how they say we choose spouses who are similar to our parents, welll does the same go for looks?

@ sara_zzz: Its all about media and your enviroment when you are rising (like a pizza hut pizza) ... err I mean growing up. The influence you get from friends etc makes your "taste" in all matters. It also changes as you grow (grow like a bhains in an open field) - so at different phases in your life you have different tastes. Goes with everything in life food, men, women, food, friends, food, ....
Symm. face crap is just stupid media again. Non Sym faces can be equally attracted too. Just because some bloddy guy though of symm theory and most ppl buy it, its in the media. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"! a person find Aish THE most "butiful" girl and then a person finds me Aish as pretty as this vase sitting on my table.
btw, aish has a 2 tone face. Half of her face is slightly darker than other half. :)
oh no, here goes the fantasy of 80% of desi guys. Rest of the 20% are still stuck up on the blonde grass (meaning : grass is greener on the other side - They think blonde is all that.)
@Sara: read above for your first part. I think thats old greek theory and I do not agree with that at all. It may be true for some but certainly not for most. We do not look for our parnets looks or personality in significant other (concsiously or unconsiously). Maybe in arranged marriges - parents look for the similar thing for better compatibility?
We do turn into our parents eventually though!
