life for men might be slightly easier..(well at least for pakistani men)…due to the decreased amount of pressure from parents and the outside world…i mean if a girl was caught doing something while the guy was too…the girl would probably b married off the next day…while the guy would just be given a look and/or in extreme cases a …:nono:…! but then again…girls have a much more exciting life than men..:D!!

ALlah has given equal amount of balance to men and women, when it comes to hardships.
Men can never handle the hardships women face.
And vis a vis for women.
Thats why Homosexuality, and transsexual behaviour is FORBIDDEN in islam.

I guess you would have to define hardships because as far as I know, women have a harder time. The easiest example to hand is that of the whole birthing process.
You can easily find references to the superiority of mothers to fathers in many hadees. This imbalance in respect and honor is directly related to the pain and sufferring a woman endures during the pregnancy and delivery process.

its a useless debate..
Men are not exactly SUPERIOR - but in general they act as LEADERS when it comes to taking care of the family , earning , taking major decisions.
Women on the other hand are reponsible for taking care of the house, bachhon ki Taleem o tarbiat and sorts of domestic matters.

it isn't useless, it is one that is pretty much decided in favour of women by a much higher authority.

I disagree, ususally men are quite clueless with home related issues - including how to deal with people. how to take care of parents and bringin up kids etc. Therefore women are incharge - although menn would never admit to it :)

Today i think most men agree men and women work equally as hard to run an average family… and most men agree that household chores are still the womans job, and most men understand… dat women have it harder when it comes to kids..so I must say I believe women have it harder… today… n come on let one man go through menstrual cramps for 5 days every month and than lets ask this question to the men… lol…
