Re: Men + Gifts

Buying presents for men isn't difficult. We just make it difficult. :)

There's the usual gifts: watch, wallet, clothing. Of course, electronics depending on his taste. Anything from a ipod, iMac, MAC mini, GPS, iPad etc. My guy also likes "experiences". For example....I knew my fiance had been wanting to see the Blue Man group for a while so earlier this year....when I found out they were coming to town....I got great seats for us. He enjoys golfing so I've gotten him "golf stuff" before. One of my friends....she bought some type of "golf lesson package" for her husband.....some "special" at a golf club where a pro golfer will give lessons.

If you know what he likes....then its not that difficult to find something he'll enjoy.

If he likes food...is there any type of food or restaurant that you think he would enjoy? Does he like to cook or just eat? One of my co-worker hired the chef from her husband's favorite restaurant to come to their house and cook a private dinner for them. The husband loved it.

If he likes to travel....how about arranging a surprise trip for the two of you? Or even givng him a something he can do with his friends? Is there anyplace particular he's been wanting to visit? My guy loves to ski...and always talks about how much he misses it (he grew up on Colorado). I can't ski and hate the cold. Last year....I surprised him with a skiing trip (I bought the ski package for 2 people and told him he can take one of his buddies with him). Even today his face lights up when he talks about that trip..lol.

Re: Men + Gifts

You were doing alright until the very last part, which in turn made me see the whole effort go right down the drain, could I be nice enough to leave a thankyou for it. I must.

I also must confess though, the limited amount of times I’ve managed to come across your nick, i’ve always read it as Gai, you know the mooing sort?. Now aa bail mujhay maar would make perfect sense as well.

Good luck!

Re: Men + Gifts

Women are easy?..I find women equally as hard :bummer:

Re: Men + Gifts

I approve. Ideally, I'd like to get electronics, particularly games/gaming accessories. The challenge there would be to get something that I don't already have. So a gift card would let me get something of my liking.

Re: Men + Gifts

Cringe.

Re: Men + Gifts

dolls......japanese ones/?

Re: Men + Gifts

Dude, its 6 strings.

As for buying presents, you can't go wrong with gadgets.

Re: Men + Gifts

Buy him one of those red envelope experiences - you know, helicopter flying lessons, hot air balloons stuff like that

Re: Men + Gifts

^or as someone said......... a ''doll'' with ur face on it......so that whenever he misses you........u know.........

Re: Men + Gifts

seriously - I agree with your topic completely, its so difficult getting a gift for men.

So guys,help me out:
My husband already has an Iphone4,some hi-fi windows mobile i know nothing about, xbox 360, Ipad.. i think I saw a home theater set in pictures somewhere as well. These are the gadgety stuff I know he has. Ive already gifted him perfumes. He wears a watch that he likes already as well. That leaves me with what??

What other gadgets within a reasonable range are a goood gift that guys love?

Re: Men + Gifts

uss se pooch lain na....:D

Re: Men + Gifts

^ Depends on what stuff he is into. RC trucks/helicopters/planes, musical instruments/accessories, a nice headphone (Dre Beats HD?), a nice watch, one of the fitness gadgets; if you are not sure and your guy is not that predictable, you could get him a gift card and he can go get whatever he fancies?

Re: Men + Gifts

Nope it’s seven strings.

I may just be asking him what he wants this time around.

Re: Men + Gifts

^ My bad, just read about it; don't like the looks of the extended fret-board though. But yeh.
