Is a lie a lie when you say it out of forgetfulness?
I mean is a lie:
a) When you intend to say a falsehood?
b) Don't intend it but what is uttered is falsehood?
Does a lie need to have intent behind it?
I would argue that women do more of a) and men would do more of b), but only out of a small sample of the men and women I know.
