Box office review:
The film was box office disaster collecting only 7.41 crores in 1st week whereas BLUE and ALL THE BEST combined collected 50 crores. Movie didn't open well and also word of mouth couldn't help since it garnered negative reviews.
However after 3 days of its theater release it's distributor UTV had released the film on DTH and then with the paid preview on TV the film generated a massive 21 crore just from DTH home audience.
MAMK is by far the most successful film on DTH. After the success on DTH, MAMK is a hit film and by adding the cost and the money made from different revenues such as TV and satellite broadcast, music, DVD, DTH, Theater/cinema and etc movie has recovered its cost and have also made a good profit.This movie was one of the biggest hits for Salman.
