synopsis
Reham Daad,(Firdos Jamal) Chaudhry of Cheet Nagar’s village, lives his life according his wife Riasat Bibi’s (Raheela Agha) bidding. He has two sons, Akbar (Ahsan Khan) and Asghar( ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ) and a daughter Rani (Aisha Huq), who is the youngest. Reham Daad’s two sisters Mukhtar Bibi (Kanwal) and Taj Bibi (Fariha Jabeen) also live with them in the Haveli. Mukhtar Bibi is a widow and has a son Naseer (Bilal Khan)who is a young man. Taj Bibi is a middle aged woman, with one daughter Noori (Saima Saleem). Both are conniving and scheming women. They can mould their brother as they wish, but Reham Daad, awed by his overpowering wife, seldom goes against her.
The story begins with Riasat Bibi’s eldest son, Akbar’s wedding….
The bride Chand (Saira Khan), though dumb is a prized commodity…
Many eyes are on her because she is the sole owner of 25 acre land from her maternal Uncle Humayon’s (Nayyer Aijaz) side.
To ensure her marital happiness, her Uncle had placed a condition on her property.
The property cannot be transferred to anyone else’s name.
But his plan backfires as her property brings her a lot of unhappiness and grief. Furious at losing so much property, the two women decide to break this marriage to force Chand to remarry Naseer. Through black magic and a bundle of lies, they create misunderstandings, use emotional black mailing and accusations. Akbar is disillusioned, thinking he has cancer and very few days to live…
Amidst all this heartache and unhappiness, new feelings are developing…

hey..no he doesnt die..but chand does she falls from the hill..sumat like dt...but ppl think shes stil alive cuz they stil hav er in the title drama..n deres no story without chand n the mother goes mental n goes missing..dnt kno why wasnt payin attention in pak..was so confused so many new characters..
