errrm no offence to you paki princess but i dont think theres anything "illegal" or wrong with seeing a design you like and doing it for your family and friends for eids etc.
soo im a bit confused to why your over reacting, we all share mehndi patterns on here and obviously people will copy the ones they like for themsleves...

All patterns are really pretty...with so many great designs, it gets hard to choose which ones I will want for my wedding.

I have a problem, whenever i make mehndi designs above the hands the colour gets very light. I wonder why? I want it to be dark. :(

Hmm.. Im probably in the minority here but I went all out with the mehndi for my wedding. I love mehndi and figured I could get elaborate with it on my shaadi. I liked having the mehndi pattern show over the chooriyan.
But in terms of patterns, hope this is helpful as an example.

yeah same here...it was really fancy and elaborate..i figured, ill never have this much mehndi on me ever again so might as well enjoy it. It was certainly beautiful but such a pain to put on. the woman who did it charged alot but it was totally worth it!!!

MashaAllah Hirah you are very talented :) I am a professional ICNHA certified henna artist in Cleveland. Unfortunately my site is new (don't even have it on my business cards yet, eek!), and my photos are old. However, I'm typing now with mehndi all my arms on both sides, and fingers slathered in goo lol. I have a fashion shoot that I'm attending on Sunday where I am working as the makeup artist and painting the body of the model with film quality black body paint (for a fake tattoo, rather than henna), then I am taking part in the photo shoot with my henna :) I've got some bridals booked, and I have a business meeting tomorrow with wedding planners so hopefully I'll get more photos up soon! I'm very stoked :D
