Almost all Islamic invaders who came to India attacked religious structures (Hindu temples) with the sole aim to loot and carry their loot back to where they came from. Ghaznavi was no different.
Some people even call Osama Bin Laden/Hitler/Jack the Ripper their hero. Just goes to show the mindset

Thats how come a sultan' like Ghaznavi ,who was true follower of Islam' could attack the roots of a Holy family in Islam?What was the reason?
Forget about Hindus attacked Hindus those days I mean centuries ago.How come there are Shia-Sunni riots now?
