Re: Mehfil of Durood O Salam
And a mehfil e milad spreads the teaching of Quran and Sunnah how? Because all I see is an overhyped singing competition between naat khwans, who are only in it to sell their naat albums and make money. I’m sorry but no matter which way you put it and the dozens of tangents you go off on in your post, Milads today in no way reflect the teachings of Islam.
Offering prayers with an uncovered head is a bidaah? Since when? Please cite proofs/references. There is nothing in Islam that tells MEN to cover their hair in prayer.
Offering only fards is not ideal, but how can it be bidaah a person does not pray Sunnah? Maybe his faith is not strong enough today but surely the person should be appreciated for reading namaz on time, even if it is just the fard. There was a hadith that said offering four rakahs of Isha with concentration is better than offering 17 rakahs with no concentration.
And again, there is no specific injunction that says Dua MUST be offered after prayer. Dua can be offered anywhere, at anytime. Of course it is a good idea to make Dua after prayer but is it obligatory? The answer is again no. Please don’t spread false information on this board, thanks.
