my fiance would have laughed in my face if i asked him to wear these colors. be nice to your fiance and let him have a say in what he wears. more metro/fashionable guys will be into wearing the daring colors suggested above. my husband is a guys guy and wore an olive green kurta with white pajama. it looked great and he was comfortable! i wore a multi-colored frock with mainly yellow in the front (with red, pink, blue accents/stripes) and a green churidaar pajama (most of which was hidden when sitting). complimentary is great, overly-matchy can sometimes be overkill.
