Re: Meet the New ISAF Commander General Campbell
Ali_Syed,
He has held the positions of a Professor of Military Science at University of California, Davis; (people from academia hold a special place in my opinion so I wanted to highlight that)
Campbell’s awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense SuperiorService Medal, two Legions of Merit, three Bronze Star Medals, two Defense Meritorious ServiceMedals, six Meritorious Service Medals, the Air Medal, the Joint Commendation Medal, the ArmyCommendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the CombatAction Badge, the Master Parachutist Badge, the Pathfinder Badge, the Ranger Tab, and the SpecialForces Tab.
He is also someone that emphasizes the need to tackle the major issue that exists in the region - the cross border militancy movement and activities. I believe he would be able to help diminish that security issue.
