I haven't read any of the posts.....but I just watched Meera's Indian movie....and its almost a disgrace that she did scenes like that. Everyone recognizes her as a Pakistani actress and in a way she represents Pakistan. And its kind of sad to see the type of stuff she is doing in another country. But then again our PK models aren't all that "clean" either.

At the ‘Paheli’ press conference in London recently, Pakistani actress Meera (of ‘Nazar’) landed there uninvited, with a guest and in full view of the media, told Shah Rukh Khan how much she loved him and that she wanted to give him flowers!
No one at the conference recognized her till SRK told the media who she was! The media hasn’t stopped talking about Meera’s desperation and how she made an ass of herself!

A lot of Artists come from Heera Mundi area.. We just have no respect for them unfortunately.. We dont have any respect for any kind of Arists in Pakistan :(

Unfortunetly mostly people representing pakistan now a days are dumb a**. Ms/Mrs Mera is one of them.

It's so easy for all of us (including myself) to criticize others. Instead, we should be looking at ourselves, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive us and the rest (including Meera), and that He (SWT) guides us to the Straight Path and keep us steadfast on it, ameen.

Before making such huge judgements, labelling others as “hypocrites” do some introspection yourself. I DON’T watch bollycrap and that includes the sluts and whores who strip ON SCREEN in that trashy part of the world.
Meera being a Pakistani has certain responsibilities. She should have lived upto them rather goin the khulla tulla way in India. It sucks. And you, with that mindset of yours, totally suck too.

To me it seems that Pakistani movies are very clean and dhaki chupi. If my memory serves me correctly, Pakistani movies are just as bad if not worse.
Yes, what she did was wrong, but instead of calling her names and accusing her of misrepresenting Pakistan, we should instead make duaa for her, ourselves and everyone else.

That doesn’t mean anything. The Indians don’t get to see these “dirty Pakistani films” you’re talkin about and they’re gonna form opinions from what they see Meera doin overthere.

I don’t get it. Why would you call me hyprocite is beyond me. I suppose you have never seen a bare naked girl on TV or in a movie - be it Bolly, Lolly or Holly..
If Meera wants to go all the way why would it bothers you and anyone else anyway. There are many bad things happen in Pakistan everyday(bigger than giving out Meera fatwa) - and hardly anyone takes notice of it.

She is a strong girl, I'll give her that. A gutsy girl. But she really is trying to become an appreciated actress by stirring up politics rather than just focusing on her own acting skills.
And that's just sad that Pakistani actresses have to go to that length. If there were good movies being produced in Pakistan, she wouldn't have to resort to that.
Still, if I were her, I'd just act in TV. At least there you get a role of substance as a female.
