Q Which are the online newspapers that provide Pak news?
And if possible the political leanings of each.
Which would be the most reliable, by reliable I mean unbiased and accurate.

The Dawn is the most objective newspaper in my opinion.
I doubt you’d find a single newspaper which isn’t unbiased in Pakistan ![]()

Dawn is the widest circulating English Paper in Pakistan. It generally has a high standard of writing and some of the best opinion writers (Ayaz Amir and Ardeshir Cowasjee), being karachi based and owned by the Haroons, it is Karachi centric and centrist politically. It’s sister magazine is The Herald, an excellent magazine with a lot more in depth information, but which is unavailable online in full.
The News; owned by the Jang group, it is more centre right Lahore-Peshawar oriented paper, and was started in the late 80’s, it successfully knocked out older papers like the frontierpost ( http://www.frontierpost.com.pk) and the Muslim. It has the cream of the Pakistani North as writers, from peshawar Rahimullah Yousafzai (the first man to interview Osama Bin Laden) and Islamabad-Lahore, Nusrat Javed, Nasim Zehra, shafqat Mehmood
Nation: The Nation, is a very much pro Islamabad paper, what one would call an “establishment paper” focussing more on Islambad over anything else. Still it has some good writers like Humayun Gohar, Ikram Sehgal and amina Jillani..but don’t expect anything revolutionary
Dailytimes: A sister publication of The Friday Times, run by Najam Sethi and his wife Jugnu, Sethi’s backed by an old PPP person Salman Taseer. Sethi’s claim to fame is being arrested by Nawaz Sharif for writing an offending article. Daily times is Centre Left, essentially Lahore centric but is now broadening it’s base, it shares many of the writers with it’s Weekly the Friday Times.
Statesman and Khybermail are small Peshawar based papers,e ssentially local and regional news, they are more local centric and have their own perspective on the country.
NEWSLINE: The original rebel magazine, in the 90’s and late 80’s Newsline was the magazine to read, every major corruption expose, was their achievement..the magazine is available online and consisted of ex Dawn writers, who pushed the envelope as far as investigative journalism. Sadly the magazine is in decline, but it is still well wroth a read.
There are no perfectly reliable newspapers throughout the world...and never take a news for guaranteed unless it has become old news... :)
Thanks for thje responses guys...My info was limited to the Dawn till now...
