Brothers and sisters to prevent clogging up the forum I have grouped all the threads together and made them a Sticky.
By all means KKF bhai and anyone else who wishes to continue this thread please carry on with this one rather than opening up a new thread each time as it keeps the forum tidy and also if need be you can date each individual word of the day on here.

**thank you Faris Bhai ... but, i think users will NOT know when and on which page a new word is introduced. merging all the threads is, in my opinion, is NOT a good idea and i don't mind if it's NOT made 'STICKY'.
i'll leave it up to you to decide...whatever you think is a better way for the sake of forum, please go ahead and i do NOT have any qualms about it :) i just expressed my views! :)
*if you do decide to keep the current format then please EDIT the title and take the DATE out...make it *"** Meaning of Today's Word"*...Thank you@ :)

Yeah this way makes it too hard to find each individual word. Also, this one thread is going to get way too cluttered. And honestly, this sub-forum could use a little activity...

Faris I think KKF's suggested format was easy to follow. Is it possible that we have a sub forum under CL&L, where all these threads 'Meaning of a particular word' and similar threads can be posted. I think this will be quite manageable as well as create interest in guppies who wanted to enhance their knowledge for Urdu.
Acha ji!chalo aj thoda ulta karle main ek angrezi lafz batata hun ap uske lie urdu lafz batayiye.wt should we call a traveler like ibn batuta in urdu?
