Surely we have a batsman on the benches who can consistently score more than 7/8 Hafeez scores in each of his outings?
Hafeez got lots of outings in the early 2000s and showed us that no matter how well he performs at the domestic level, he turns out to be a dud at the international level. Doesn't have the mental strength I guess, so why go back to him. why not take the chance with another youngster instead..

NZ had 53 dot balls in their innings, how many will Pakistan have at this rate? They might even be bowled out, unless a miracle from Butt & Misbah. Though I think more hope is with Butt these days to save the day.
