Umpire Paul’s not out LBW overturned on review. If this was a not too famous Asian umpire the commentators from the west would go on and on about umpiring standards being low.

Earlier the same umpire got another decision wrong. Gave Duminy out LBW when the ball had hit the gloves.

my prediction again came true…SA folds for 191 … India will need 192 to win…it should be a piece of cake to win or in other words it will be a cake-walk.

first 2 overs slow scoring but the 3rd over fetched Rohit 10 runs [1 SIX and a FOUR] and in the 4th Dhawan hit a SIX as well…India in control…trying to demoralize Morkel

Kohli had a shaky start. But now playing himself in. Beaten off twonsuccessive deliveries by Phel* with a low half chance at first slip not being taken. This could just be the inning he needs to get back into his groove. Hasn’t had a good series vs Aussies and the IPL. And his inning vs Pakistan had some lives.

On to the semi finals. The slow start by South African openers put them on the backfoot from the getgo. The top three batsmen had an average strike rate of 70. Not good. DuPlesis selfish running between the wickets- if this was done by a desi player, the media would be all over him.

Actually despite the slow start, South Africa were going along nicely at 140 odd for 3 with AB and Faf in the middle. The run rate was 4.88, not bad with 23 overs remaining. Ponting and Ganguly were even talking about a 300 final score. What put paid to all that was those two silly runouts. South Africa never recovered after that. There was no real need for such sharp singles at that stage. du Plessis was the culprit. Such risks are only worth taking during the last 5 overs.
A clinical performance by India first in the field and then with the bat.
I think the final will be between England and India i.e. a repeat of 2013 CT Final

^ yes the two runouts were unnecessary. Also ABD had some issue with his hamstring.
I was scared of ABD - he was playing really well. Seeing the ball early and didn’t appear to be in any trouble.

Really they proved it yet again. They can be excellent in bilateral series but for tournaments where there is exit door open they collapse.
A batting line consisting Amla . ABD. FAF. Dumini can collapse to a normal bowling line that too 4 run out against an ordinary fielding. Wat the hack. It is only pressure not extra ordinary bowling or fielding
