Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

^^

You are taking exceptions and making them examples.

If given a choice do you think anybody would want to settle in any of the countries you just mentioned. :smack:

In your opinion all the western countries are racist, India too is racist..
So tell me what is the best country which is non-racist and is a good country to live in.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

these countries i.e afghanistan and iraq are underdeveloped but still western people go there to earn money same for muslim going to west…

racism is problem in west…like extremism is problem for muslim nations…

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

ya ya hordes of westerners are going to Iraq and Afghanistan to earn money. Where do you get your data from.

You did not answer my question...

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

There are more people queing up to go to UK from the land of honey and milk than the land of pure.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

LOL

Please add Israel, Sweden and India to the list.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

So awful and saddening for the muslims. but the positive point from this is that the good is acknowledged from the bad and that the minority ruin it for the majority.

and in times like this.. the muslim stay focused and condemn the evil doers who are 'so-called' muslims ...

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

babri masjid destroyed

uk masjid destroyed

india and britian plenty of racism in common you right!

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

Westerners are going to Iraq and Afghanistan to earn money... huh?

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

List of private contractor deaths in Iraq - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

read it and please post again with some excuses for these westerners killed iraq..i.e.they were not there for money they were working for humanity .etc…

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

It's true for Iraq as big oil companies have invested there. Not sure about Afghanistan....but I remember there were some big tourism projects coming up from mainly Ismaili investors. I doubt they went ahead with it considering they couldn't handle the Taliban and roadside bomb attacks. Now UK plans to take out its troups so God knows whatever will happen to these projects and the economy.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

But those are contractors who already have jobs going their to fulfill contracts, and are only going for a short period, not entire middle class families unemployed or under employed in their home countries going to find jobs as factory workers or cab drivers and settling for life.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

UK has racism issues that is fact trying to blur the issues with economic migration is absurd, the migrants who go usually end up working for other migrants for not a great deal of money.

Trying to call a burning of a mosque, a school and hundreds of other incidents a slight provocation shows you have a lot of intolerance issues yourself.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

If you don't mind me asking what part of uK do you live in and how long have you lived in uk

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

what do you have to say about:

protests to implement sharia laws in uk
Hate Speeches by muslims
burning of poppies
7/7
woolwich attack
other failed terrorist attacks
and 1000's of other things

you're only going to get what you're going to sow if you don't like it then go back to where you are happy.

i've lived all my life in UK and racism was very very minimum until the above started in the uk it's better you do something about your fellow muslims who are giving everyone in the world a hard life rather than racist this and racist that.... because if your going to go to someones home and disturb peace they are not going to sit back and let you walk all over them.

however i don't agree with burning of the Islamic community centre that some how has turned into a mosque/masjid since the attack.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

Wow, that's quite the mixed bag. How onerous the pressure of being judged by every single flaw of your community...regardless of your own behavior. How wonderful some have managed to escape that trapping...

But first...go back? It's very strange that any immigrant, (or offspring of one), regardless of their stance on this issue would use that particular wording.

.... because if your going to go to someones home and disturb peace they are not going to sit back and let you walk all over them.

Well, actually, after being lectured so much on freedom of this and that, it is apparently the case that they are obligated to sit back and be the doormat. Or so we are told...for everything else, there's the law. Apparently this is the formula for a civil society. And no, it does not excuse racism or violence.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

South east, north, London, Scotland...10 years. Surrey is my home.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

It tells a lot about you than it tells about UK.

Of course, after 9/11, the racism has taken a new turn. Islamophobia.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

I usually avoid commenting on such threads however with the amount of "we feel sorry for the Muslims in the UK....." blah blah blah blah situ I felt I needed to comment.

I agree with the above; as another poster mentioned it is a minority that wants Shariah in the UK though. I personally feel we should stick them on a dingy, launch them into the sea and tell them to find their way to the country of their choice where Shariah is openly practiced and everyones rights are given including the minorities. Simples.

I live in England, my family moved here in 1957. My Grandfather is a hardworking fella, was the Masjid chairman for as long as I can remember and we were brought up in white 'posh' upper class areas. We never received racism. We wear Hijabs, my aunts even were hiqabs. People in the community are aware of what part my family play in the Islamic community. My uncle is the Headteacher of a mainsteam School (government one). We've even got Doctors in the family. No one has a problem with us; perhaps because we've never had a problem with others. We fit into society, we are happy to practice our religion our way without causing a problem and potentially killing a British soldier in the process (let's not forget what has caused the spike in these attacks-the truth is certain people are getting too big for their boots. Back in their homeland they don't have enough to eat-in the UK they are walking around like they are Gods gift to Islam). A minority group is destroying what our elders worked hard to build. IMHO anyone like that should be sent back to the country of origin. Let them see if the grass is really greener on the other side. My Dada once said to us that we all have a responsibility towards our religion; however to practice it and be a good Muslim is one thing; to unbalance the structure of a country in which we live is another. We should be pillars of our community; and not let these preachers destroy us. Sadly some in a few communities (minority groups) protect these preachers because they feel they must to preserve their religion and identity.

Noone likes it when 'outsiders' as they view them come along and change things in their country. It's usually the cause of civil uprest in many countries-not just the United Kingdom. The EDL are to some degree a by product of the government allowing looney haters giving speeches that brush up the majority of the public the wrong way. It's the same in other countries too.

What would happen if there was a Christian hate preacher in Pakistan? I doubt he'd live for very long at all.

The media is hyping up stuff as per usual. Sky News in renowned for jumping on a news report and sticking the terrorism label on it; anyone with half a brain or with experience in journalism will understand bad news sells. No one wants to hear about those Muslim Brothers from Newcastle who during the bad weather went out and cleared roads, paths and helped elderly people by clearing the snow in front of their properties because the local council was literally snowed under with work.

No one is forcing anyone to live here; if anyone feels that threatened by the country and the minority groups causing friction Heathrow/Manchester/Birmingham all over flights on a daily basis.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

Too much has made out of this incident.

i see no one making comments on the mass blowing up of mosques in Syria by both sides.

Re: Masjid burnt to the ground in Tolerant Britian

^coz this thread isn't about Syria.
