MARZIPAN - Just love Candies of this stuff

i'd always see them on tv and they looked so exciting, i begged my mum to buy one when i saw them in the supermarket and she was like 'NO you will not like it' but obviously i wasn't gonna listen to that. so she bought it and i took one bite and was like BLEUGHHHHH (the appropriate response to marzipan).

Re: MARZIPAN - Just love Candies of this stuff

yuck! i dont like it Marzipan, but i luv the icing and cream on cakes especailly from the cake store mmmmmmm yummy :D

I vaguely remembering NOT liking the taste when i was a child, but i forgot how much i disliked it when i saw some in the supermarket and thought, i think i might like them now. NO ONE liked them when i bought them home, if anything, they were worse than b4.

One thing i DO remember i absolutely LOVED was the fake cream on the puddings in school dinners. Does anyone know what it was they used, bcos i'd like to buy some.

yea, that happened when i was a kid but i have a good memory of bad tasting food. i had some dodgy mulit-coloured mittay chaawal in saudi when i was five.. that put me off for life.

i loved that fake cream too! that's because i really dislike real cream. they don't use it so much now because it's just full of sugar - it's made from vegetable oil.

Re: MARZIPAN - Just love Candies of this stuff

^ you can buy cream cakes from greggs which have fake cream they taste good.

o rly.. i've never tried coz i wasn't sure. i'll have to get one next time i do cheap vegetable pasty lunch. the nearest greggs is 10-15min walk from work so people have be feeling particularly poor to want to join me on the trek!
