I would never marry someone who's 10 years older no matter what. I'd probably marry someone 5 years older than me but I wouldn't marry a guy who's the same age as I am because guys tend not to me as mature girls. Eg. if I get married when I'm 23 I'd want my hubby to be atleast 5 years older. The maximum if I really had to compromise I'd do 7 years but no more than that.

im 22 & my husband is 29 im stupid sumtimes, sumtimes he is so age doesnt matter for me if a younger guy wanna get married to a slightly older women even thats fine

come on....there is a thing left in discussion..that is love :-) I'm in love wid a girl whoz 15 years younger than me...infact she started that and i always argued her about the abovesaid facts and figures....but finally couldn't resist her and got involve myself tooo..
Now i do believe that girls normally gets mature a lot earlier than guys. In perspective of home,family, and a lot of matters, she thinks much better than what a normal guy of her age thinks...

so there was a time when people were not sending thier grils for higher education .. 12th grade or BA would be fine ..
so what a gril would do at age 20 when she is done with her under grad .. get married ..
get married to a guy who should be working and settled
that makes a guy, at least 28 of not more ..
I think that was the main reason why grils from upto last few generations were marrying much older guys than them ..
nowadays, reasons are less to do that

My husband is 7 years older than me..and Alhamdulillah we get along pretty well with each other.Infact my husband has lot more wisdom ,patience than me and for sure he is mature than me(i guess these are plus points for me: Alhamdulillah).I guess it depends upon every individual.

My dad is 8 years older than mom. Works out just fine. My hubby is 4 years older. No problemo. My dad in law was 14 years older than my saas. He used to treat her like a bachi at first but their relationship adjusted and became a perfect fit as time passed. So I guess at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter, at least in my experience.
