Married Women and Body Hair...

seriously.

but i think a lot of the posts here are very insensitive.

desi women are prone to more than usual to excess body and facial hair. a lot have higher testosterone levels which cause this... and there is nothing medical professionals can prescribe for it unless there is a clear hormonal imbalance. when it comes to the face, temporary removal will just make it worse.

i get a few pm's every month asking for advice on laser or electrolysis from young women who are pretty distraught about their hair issues. they spend a lot of their time worrying about, they feel unattractive and worry about getting married. reading a thread like this just makes them feel even worse about themselves.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

trust me...after completing the treatment, they will start coming back by the end of the year. This something both my friends and I observed.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

Oh my..

You know, my mom hasn't waxed in years but its because she has NO hair, like I envy her skin- its mA amazing. She used to have some and i guess it went away completely with regular waxing for few years, so i'm hoping the same would happen with me. I remember her getting it done religiously when I was younger.

and as for other aunties, my mom's friends were all fashionistas- always. So i remember aunties getting together and talking about handbags and shoes, but never anyone with facial or body hair grossness and I personally think women become MORE conscious after getting married.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

i like my moonchein

I have had laser and trust me, this is only the finer hairs that were never going to be properly treated in the first place, or bad settings from whoever was providing your electrolysis.

And hair cycles are such that any area that doesn't have new growth for about 6 months means the follicles were permanently destroyed. But this doesn't mean that new follicles won't appear in the future.. but as I said on a place like the legs this won't happen.

Which areas are you referring to?

:hehe: best post so far

I am more shocked at the Aunty's PCG speaks of, even if it's a 'womens only' gathering.. such information doesn't need to be passed-on. (including the husbands' fetishes).

Waxing/threading and personal grooming says a lot about a persons hygiene as well, "desi" woman are generally more hairy to begin with.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

^ Not necessarily. The hair on their body are darker and are seen more clearly.

Non-desi or fair women have lighter colored hair and may not be visible.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair…

ok so i think we should all shave the more private areas eg armpits etc, it’s part of hygiene recommeneded for muslims (sorry i dnt have a reference) so it’s wajib to do it ‘atleast’ once every 20 or 40days

as far as arms, legs, eyebrows are concerned i dont understand what has that got to do with hygiene?:konfused: if someone wants to have bushy eyebrows, hairy legs or arms then what’s there to eww about?

men (mostly) dont do their eyebrows, or shave legs and arms, they have big beards too…why isnt it unhygienic for them? why is it soo necessary for females to wax their legs/arms?:hmmm:

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

I heard from someone that you should take care of anything manly about your appearance. As in if you have a mooch to rival maula jutt's, thread it. Or a unibrow. Or a beard. You get my drift.... and I think she also said the same applied to your body hair...

I agree, why on earth would being married have an effect on whether you remove your hair. Whatever happened to maintaining your appearance for yourself?

Yeah, who discusses things like that?! Seriously, people need to know what sort of information is best left in the bedroom.

Why is your uncle sick in this case? Did he come to you and share his turn ons? Was he expecting/demanding it from some other woman, some one other than his wife?

Something that he liked and expected from his wife was his business. Just because his wife decided to share it with others does not mean that he is a sick person now.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

oh boy

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

See, I'm so confused about electrolysis vs. laser especially what all that means for desi women. I don't know if electrolysis is even worth it for the face. Some of us women have PCOS so we have a more thick hair growth..although ever since I've been on BCPs I've noticed that my hair grows way more slowly and I'm not having to wax as often.

TLK, that IS SICK.

If men like it hairy, then... EWWWWWWWWW

And on top of that, WHY ARE WE WASTING OUR TIME WITH THIS WAXING if y'all like it better au naturale?

Oh no, no. Please. You are a married man. Please share your thoughts.

You can put your wife on ignore so she wont see your posts. ;)

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

lol @ the replies
Honestly speaking, my husband could care less if I shave/wax/thread or not. He doesn't find anything dirty... which is weird but I guess being a doctor, he is used to everything and nothing bothers him anymore. So he has no say in this hairy story.
Me, I like to stay groomed. Even when I am home... in my pjs, I still like nice smooth legs. Having said that, I become lazy sometimes and don't shave for days.. yup.. honest reply :) I let my moonchen grow for a week.. and then all of the sudden realize.. hmmm its time to thread and then i'll thread.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

Wait...so he has actually SAID this to you, or you take his silence when he sees your hairy legs and assume he doesn't care?

Here is the thing. Looking back on it, I think he was probably asking her not to shave because it would clog up the bath tub or sink again, or he needed to go to the bathroom, and she was hogging up the bathroom facilities.

I doubt that man likes it hairy. Urgh....

She's a nut job. She is inappropriate all the time any time of the day possible. I can't even begin to tell you. This is what happens when you marry a girl for her looks and not her education...

sounds like your chaachi is pretty hot... Mashallah.

Re: Married Women and Body Hair...

She is. ;) You wanna be introduced?
