dunno abt degree level work. hmm

bt i so wnt to do this man , ill so proud to be an LLB at the end of it. hahah

Re: Married and Studying

I would definately say that you should go for it..even encourage you to take th university onsite classes rather then the online ones as there s definately no substitute to the lectures that they provide in classes, and other thing is when you have to sit through a class , you are bound to absorb a lot more instead of spending more time alone studying. This I do mean not the generic courses but the ones that are major specific. I took a lot of the distance learning ones while my daughter was young and those only he generic core ones.
You can most definately take courses while your husband is at work, and be back before he is depending on how far your college is.Also taking 2 days off in between like most classes r offered MWF or Tuesday Thursday's so you can take ccourses with break in between and then concentrate in home and your relationship.:)Good Luck!

Re: Married and Studying

I agree with Ask99 actually, In class courses are much better then distance learning, especially for your core courses that are major specific. It really helps to listen to the in class discussions, the interaction, the networking, the help and you can better understand as professor gives examples in class, esp if it is any accounting/finance/math type of class. Plus a number of classes require groupwork/projects/presentations...and its better if you are on campus. From your posts it seems as if its just you & your husband, no kids & no in-laws. You should be able to manage taking some on campus courses as well as DL.

Re: Married and Studying

well i thin u shud go fer it. the best thing is that ur sister is with you so u can openly talk to her nd tell her that it mite be tuff for u so u just need her to be there for u. and im sure she will understand. but i think Allahmian ka naaml lekar u shud go with it. nd you also have ur husband suporting u!!!
INSHALLAH ull be fine :)

Re: Married and Studying

my going to be hubby thinks that studies is the only way where he can keep me busy when he is out...as otherwise i will waste time on ebay and in market halls hehehe:p

Dare I add to Pir ji's wisdom?

is it a walk in the park? not at all,
is it doable? by all means
is it worth it? Absolutely!
