No the UK immigration office don’t actually do much because he still has leave left on his visa therefore because of too much paperwork they don’t bother investigating that’s why I need an experienced lawyer.

You need to see a proper immigration solicitor because what you have been told is not true. You do need to inform UKBA that you withdraw spousal support since marriage has ended (send proof). Presumably he is here on a spouse visa so once that expires how will he apply for ILR as he’ll need to proof you are in a marriage and submit all the supporting evidence too which clearly he won’t be able to do.

OP,

like other posters have mentioned, pologmy is not allowed therefore should not warrant any further leave to remain. I am currently going through the same issues. I married my husband 2 years a go, spent a lot of money and effort on getting him sponsored and since day 1 in the UK - things started going wrong. I realized pretty soon that he only applied for nationality and then I started uncovering evidence which proved that he had DEFO married just to get into the country. He has now left me as soon as I had my baby and is starting a new life on his own. I am so upset and torn apart and I feel so used, I do not wish him to stay in this country 1 day longer however immigration is so complicated and deporting them so hard.

I wish this was made clear before hand that once you get them into the country - getting them out is impossible whether or not they are in their initial days of staying here or a couple of years down the line.

Please definitely contact the immigration authorities and inform them about this man . If you arent sure about your own ability to communicate with the authorities , then , seek help from solicitors . you have a strong case against that man .

No I am quite capable of doing it myself. I have already informed Home Office and informed Police of assaults, there is a warrant for arrest for him. As of yet haven’t heard back from the Home Office.
